Any Chef is a UX design project focused on creating a recipe app that combines categorized search and social media-style features. The name "Any Chef" reflects the belief that anyone who prepares their own meals is a chef. The app is designed to empower users to share, discover, and engage with recipes in an intuitive and community-driven platform.
The Any Chef recipe app was designed to provide users with a seamless and engaging platform for discovering and sharing recipes. The project emphasized delivering a user-friendly interface, social media-style interactions, and personalized search options. Special features like categorized search and "What’s in My Fridge?" allowed users to filter recipes by type, occasion, ingredients, or cuisine.
As the UX designer, I handled the app's design and prototyping, ensuring accessibility through high-contrast colors, voice-activated search, and intuitive navigation. This project aimed to create a space where anyone can feel like a chef while fostering a sense of community through recipe sharing.
